LCGB works with many partners within the UK and around the world.
LCGB works at a strategic level nationally and globally to promote, protect and support breastfeeding. LCGB hosts the web page for the UK working group of WBTi (World Breastfeeding Trends Initiative) which is a coalition of organisations involved in infant feeding in the UK who are working together to improve the UK’s performance on key breastfeeding policies and programmes.
LCGB is part of ILCA’s “Global Partners Program.” Our partner is Asibi Onyioza, who is the only IBCLC in Nigeria, a country of over 170 million people. Over the past few years, LCGB has provided Asibi with ILCA membership, a library of lactation reference books, and opportunities to attend ILCA and GOLD lactation conferences.
