Lactation Consultants of Great Britain (LCGB) is delighted to invite nominations for the 2026 Award for Outstanding Contribution to Breastfeeding and Human Milk, which will be presented during the LCGB Online Conference – Practice, People, Partnership on 5 November 2026.
This award recognises individuals who have made a meaningful and lasting impact on breastfeeding families through their dedication, leadership, innovation, advocacy, education or clinical practice.
In keeping with this year's conference theme, Practice, People, Partnership, we welcome nominations that celebrate collaboration and excellence across the infant feeding community. We encourage nominations from across the workforce, including (but not limited to):

International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs)

Peer supporters and voluntary organisations

Midwives, health visitors, neonatal nurses and other healthcare professionals

Researchers, educators and academics

Community organisations and advocates

Anyone who has made a significant contribution to improving breastfeeding and human milk support
